In Universe #6, Paul Jenkins and Clayton Crain deliver a haunting, character-driven story as Tom confronts the weight of his past, revealing why he left the priesthood after a devastating case involving a man named William Churchill. When Churchill kills his family and himself, Tom takes a dangerous, unauthorized journey through Hell using the GIMP, seeking redemption by rescuing the souls of Churchill’s wife and children—only to face the Conductor’s grip on William’s soul. Clayton Crain’s striking art, with inks by Jonathan Glapion, brings a visceral intensity to this supernatural exploration of guilt and consequence.
