Matthew Roberts renders the Creature with real menace while Dave Stewart's murky, golden-green palette gives the whole scene an eerie, swamp-drenched atmosphere. Writers Dan Watters and Ram V continue their Image Comics take on this Universal Monsters property, and if this cover is any indication, the series has a confident visual identity all its own.
