United Comics #21 is an anthology featuring three stories: "Fritzi Ritz," in which Fritzi boxes while a man named Fritzi watches angrily from a mirror and another character observes from a doorway; "Abbie and Slats," where Libby Perkins encounters Chesty and becomes entangled in various romantic and social complications involving Margie and a campaign to beat Tookerville High at a bowl game; and "Mamie" by Russell Patterson, in which Mamie becomes a television star after appearing in a commercial for tropical bathing suits, and is later given a buoyant bathing suit for a swimming scene.
