When a Chinese-crewed submarine attacks an American tanker headed for Korea, intelligence uncovers a startling threat: the Communists are building submarine pens on Peichu Island to launch a full-scale assault on Allied shipping lanes. Lieutenant Blane's underwater demolition team is tasked with a dangerous midnight raid to destroy the beach defenses and sub pens before a coordinated naval bombardment levels the island—whether the frogmen have cleared out or not. Moving silently through enemy waters and past alarm systems, Blane and his men begin their infiltration of what may be their most lethal objective yet.

During the Korean conflict, two frogmen volunteers are tasked with piloting a revolutionary two-man electronic submarine into a heavily guarded enemy inlet to destroy a merchant raider and a nest of E-boats. As Blaze Adams and another commando navigate the treacherous waters toward their target, they must contend with unexpected obstacles—including a submarine net and a patrol craft—while racing against time to complete Operation Havoc and rendezvous with their air cover before it's too late.
