The penultimate issue of this gritty BOOM! Studios crime series arrives with one of its most unsettling images yet — a massive rat, suspended upside down against a nighttime city skyline and bridge, looming over the tight, tense face of a figure below, a small flame burning nearby. David Lapham's cover linework, with moody coloring by Hilary Jenkins, gives the whole scene a noir-drenched, deeply ominous atmosphere. If the series has been building toward something dark, issue #4 makes clear the pressure is about to crack.
