The second chapter of Jeff Parker and Steve Lieber's cave-set thriller from Image puts the tension front and center: a blonde park ranger in uniform — headlamp on, backpack strapped tight — scrambles urgently through the darkness while a group of silhouetted figures looms against a blood-red cavern opening above her. Lieber's cover composition is taut and clever, using the cave mouth itself as a dramatic frame that separates hunter from hunted in a single striking image.
