Part of Marvel's X-Men: Age of Acclimation line, this 2026 entry delivers a tense three-way standoff rendered in moody, painterly detail by cover artist E. M. Gist — a zombified Deadpool flailing against a fiery yellow backdrop above an armored, cybernetic Cable, while a blue-helmeted figure levels an enormous gun squarely at him. The composition is genuinely striking, with Cable's glowing techno-organic eye and grim expression doing a lot of heavy lifting in the middle ground. Tim Seeley, Carlos Magno, and Guru-eFX bring the interior pages to life in what promises to be a darkly chaotic chapter for everyone's favorite regenerating mercenary — in a considerably worse state than usual.
