Uncle Milty visits a "Home for Old Jokes" where he encounters a collection of vintage practical jokes and gags that are demonstrated by the facility's residents. In a separate story, "Uncle Milty Hires a Press Agent," Milton seeks out a press agent named Whiz Watson to help boost his entertainment career, agreeing to pay Watson's fees with the promise of future success. The issue also includes a text article by Milton Berle offering advice on avoiding becoming a "Grumbler" by preparing oneself for success through hard work and maintaining a positive attitude.

Uncle Milty dreams he's summoned to the Kingdom of the Klowns as their King, only to discover his royal duty is performing at the Old Jokes' Home—a retirement facility for tired gags, puns, and pratfalls waiting for comedians to give them new life. As Uncle Milty attempts to entertain the residents and navigate the kingdom's strict rules against unlicensed punning, he encounters classic jokes both verbal and physical, from worn-out one-liners to ancient practical jokes that refuse to stay retired.

Marco gets sent out of the studio to run around and catch his breath for a comedy sketch on Uncle Milty's show—but when he rushes back in, he stumbles into the wrong studio where a "Mr. America" muscleman competition is underway. The exhausted and out-of-breath Marco is mistaken by the audience for part of the act and wins the contest, much to the fury of the actual bodybuilders who competed. What follows is a chaotic mix-up as Marco tries to escape the angry musclemen while Uncle Milty watches the mayhem unfold.
