Uncanny X-Men #7
Part of Marvel's 2016 "X-Men: Apocalypse Wars" crossover, this issue presents a striking split-image cover by Greg Land — Warren Worthington's warm, feathered Angel on the left facing his dark, armored Archangel persona on the right, the two halves divided like light and shadow against a stained-glass backdrop that echoes both identities. Rendered in glowing golds and cool blues, the duality feels genuinely haunting, and the stained glass figures looming behind each half add a sense of weight and consequence. With Cullen Bunn writing and Ken Lashley on interiors, colored by Nolan Woodard, this chapter of Uncanny X-Men looks like a compelling examination of one of mutantkind's most conflicted souls.
