Uncanny X-Men #26
Cyclops is absolutely surrounded on this striking cover — a lone figure in red and gold, swallowed by a swarming horde of monstrous, fang-baring Sentinels rendered in an unsettling dark palette by Chris Bachalo and Tim Townsend. The sheer density of those corrupted, skull-faced machines pressing in from every angle makes for a genuinely gripping image. Brian Michael Bendis and Kris Anka continue their 2014 run with what promises to be a tense chapter for Marvel's mutants.
