Lucio Parrillo's cover for this 2022 Dynamite series captures Red Sonja mid-battle cry, bloodied sword raised and war paint streaking her face, every inch of her radiating defiant fury. Looming behind her is a churning mass of monstrous, distorted faces — wide-eyed, fanged, and deeply unsettling — that makes the threat feel vast and otherworldly. Writer Jim Zub and artist Giovanni Valletta continue their run here, and if the cover is any indication, Sonja's trials are anything but ordinary.
