Wolverine charges straight at the viewer on David Finch's cover for this 2004 installment of the "New Mutants" arc — claws fully extended, teeth bared, and that black-and-gold Ultimate costume stretched tight across a frame built for pure aggression. Brian Michael Bendis and Finch were delivering some of the sharpest X-Men storytelling of the era, and this image captures the raw, kinetic energy driving their run.
