This anthology issue contains two stories. "Double DFC" follows two tough kids from New York's Lower East Side, Joe Sloan and Tommy Baxter, who have been feuding since childhood but are forced to confront their rivalry when they discover the true enemy during the Korean War. "A Hero's Mistake" features Major Hank Stone, a hard-nosed U.S. Marines pilot, who makes a critical error in judgment that nearly costs his unit dearly, leading him to discover a mysterious floating berg being used by the enemy as an aircraft carrier—a tactic the Americans had previously dismissed as impossible.
