This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "The Mad Missile" follows Lieutenant Austien, a young Air Force pilot whose flying skill and reflexes are the only hope to intercept and destroy a massive guided missile heading toward a large Midwestern city before it can kill a million people. "Powerhouse Gals" tells of Powerhouse Perkins, a former China hand with Oriental Airlines who becomes entangled in a scheme involving the Sultan of Swabogi and a downed airliner, ultimately leading to aerial combat where shadows in reconnaissance photographs may reveal a hidden installation.
