This issue contains two stories. "The Red Ace" features Captain Coogan, who after eleven months and eleven victories against the Nazis, discovers that the enemy has rigged a trap and made a name for themselves by matching his record, forcing him into a dangerous confrontation to stop them. The second story follows Bennie Kinard, a fighter pilot whose plane crashes, leading British Beaudfighter pilots to launch a rescue mission while a Rumanian fighter and a camera plane carrying Major DeGrew complicate the operation, with Kinard ultimately succeeding in rejoining the squadron.
