Two Moons #10

John Arcudi's Civil War supernatural horror series charges into its tenth issue with a genuinely unsettling cover: a grotesque, undead-looking rider atop an equally monstrous horse thunders forward out of a teal-drenched darkness, both figures snarling with bared teeth and raw, decayed flesh. Behind them, a ghostly horde of similarly corrupted riders and figures looms out of the murk, suggesting something between a cavalry charge and a nightmare. Giangiordano, Cox, and Heisler bring a visceral, painterly energy to the image that makes this one of Image's more striking horror covers of 2022.
