This January 1972 Marvel Western delivers five complete six-gun sagas in one 20-cent package, promising some of the "wildest, wooliest" frontier action of the era. The cover by Gil Kane and John Severin captures a breathless showdown: the masked Two-Gun Kid charges forward on a rearing horse while a gun-toting figure in the foreground scrambles on the ground, weapons blazing at close range amid a dusty frontier street. With a promised "Shoot-Out at Gunpowder Range" and the tale "Killer's Ranch" inside, this issue makes a strong case for classic Marvel Western storytelling.
