Twilight #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe middle chapter of Howard Chaykin's ambitious 1991 DC prestige-format trilogy, Twilight Book II presents a José Luis García-López cover of striking, almost mythological gravity — a massive, muscular figure stands astride the cosmos, one hand cradling a blazing orb and the other reaching toward a starburst of light, while a vast crowd of silhouetted figures gazes upward from below. The gold-framed, high-contrast artwork by García-López (colored by Steve Oliff) carries the weight of something between a monument and a warning. It's a genuinely arresting image that makes the stakes of this science-fiction saga feel enormous.
