Dec 1980 · Western · 0.40 USD
“Unwelcome Guest”

In "Unwelcome Guest," Tweety's boredom takes a turn when Sylvester receives an invitation to visit his cousin Gorgo, a reclusive inventor living in a remote castle. Though Sylvester initially resists Tweety's request to come along, he soon sees an opportunity: maybe Gorgo’s strange gadgets can finally help him catch the little bird. With art by John Costanza on both interior and cover, this 1980 Western Publishing issue delivers classic slapstick tension in a whimsical, unpredictable setting.

Tweety is bored, and life stands to become even more boring when Sylvester gets an invitation to visit his cousin Gorgo, an eccentric inventor who lives in a huge far-off castle. Tweety asks to go along but Sylvester balks, until he decides that Gorgo and his inventions can help him finally catch Tweety. Unfortunately for Sylvester, he has vastly overrated Gorgo's inventing skills.
