When Ozzie's date with Babs gets hijacked by her unexpected houseguest cousin Sheba, he finds himself on the receiving end of an exhausting evening of demands—dancing lessons, dart retrieval, fuse-box expeditions, and more dancing. After Sheba wears him down with one scheme after another, Ozzie finally surrenders and takes her to the Arthur Murray TV dance show she's been angling for all night. The real twist comes when persistence pays off in the most ironic way possible.

Teevy builds an ambitious homemade TV set and convinces his pal Dippy to stake two dollars toward a contest entrance fee, promising to split the winnings for a birthday present—but when they discover the contest deadline is today at noon, a frantic race to submit the invention turns into a comedy of errors. With each mishap along the way, Teevy's elaborate creation gets progressively more beat-up, yet the two friends soldier on to make it to the finish line just in time.

Ozzie and the TV Teen Club get their hands on a donated television set and decide to install it in Ozzie's car—making it the first TV-equipped jalopy in Winkleville. When a local broadcast of an industrial crane at the scrap yard catches their attention, a police siren does too, and the teens find themselves in a high-speed game of cat-and-mouse with the law over their unconventional mobile entertainment setup.

Ozzie and Babs launch their own TV repair business and hit the country roads looking for broken sets to fix—armed with nothing but a 30-cent repair manual and salvaged parts. When they finally find a customer with a malfunctioning television, their enthusiastic (if clumsy) attempt to help quickly spirals into chaos, leaving them to face the consequences of their well-meaning but disastrous handiwork.
