Marion is attractive and comes from a wealthy family, but falls in love with an orphan who is working his way through school. He loves her, but feels the difference in their social status would prevent her from being happy. Keith goes fishing over a weekend to try to get her out of his mind. He meets an older fisherman who had also been an orphan, working his way through school, and they become friends. When Marion finally convinces Keith to visit her parents, he discovers that her father is his fisherman friend.
