“My Undead Past!”

Romance and real-life drama collide in this April 1951 entry in Marvel's True Secrets anthology series. Christopher Rule's cover pencils set the scene on a sun-drenched beach boardwalk, where a blonde woman in a red swimsuit clutches a young man while a sharp-suited figure points accusingly and threatens to expose her secret — teasing the lead story, "My Undead Past!," which asks whether a girl can ever escape a tragic mistake from her youth. Three anthology tales are promised inside, making this a packed ten-cent package of heartache, confrontation, and second chances drawn straight from "true life.
