Arlene vacations on a farm and falls in love with Tom, but turns down his marriage proposal because she has a responsible job in the city. She changes her mind, they wed, and live in the country. Arlene tries to impress her new neighbours but they think she’s a snob. Arlene eventually decides to leave, but when her toddler son vanishes, the whole community pitches in to find him. Arlene will stay in her new home.
