“The Sacrifice of Kathy Woods”

In "The Sacrifice of Kathy Woods," Penny finds herself caught between love and doubt when the man she’s falling for suddenly vanishes without a word. As her wedding day approaches, a cryptic telegram from Ross leaves her anxious—his absence deepens, and rumors of his financial ruin begin to surface. With the truth still hidden, Penny must confront what loyalty really means when the man she trusts disappears into silence. The story unfolds with quiet intensity, drawn with precision by Tom Scheuer, whose artwork brings emotional weight to every panel, while Vince Colletta’s cover captures the tension with a haunting, shadowed portrait of a woman on the edge of a breaking point.
