Nancy falls for new co-worker Jeff, who’s the guardian of his young sister Cathy. She helps him adjust to city life; her spinster Aunt Harriet thinks Jeff is exploiting her, but Nancy hopes Jeff will someday return her love. However, Cathy tells Nancy she doesn’t like her, and Nancy later hears Jeff is engaged. But Nancy is the woman Jeff wants to marry, he just never got around to asking her. Now he does and she accepts. The issue of Cathy’s hostility is never brought up again.
