Stewardess Pam and airline executive Bill are in love. She sees him kissing another woman, runs away, and is hit by a car. In the hospital, nurse Marge tells Pam the story of her romance during World War I with Tom. She mistakenly thought Tom was a draft dodger, then discovered he was in the secret service and couldn’t tell her. They reconcile but Tom is killed in action before they can marry. Pam, inspired by this, calls Bill and he explains the “other woman” was his sister. They reconcile.
