The True Believer kidnap Maria Hill to interrogate her about Anathema, which Max Trent had been preparing for SHIELD. Iron Man comes after the team but they narrowly escape him. Later, Mavis discovers her boyfriend Chet was a traitor to SHIELD and had disagreed with Max about Anathema and had him killed; Payback kills Chet and shares what she learned with SHIELD, but continues to operate the True Believers as an alternative source of information and accountability.
