Short and fat and dressed in a Swiss mountain outfit, Cousin Frumson doesn't meet with anyone's expectations of what a "champ" looks like. The ranch workers make fun of him behind his back and figure he must be good at eating, judging by the size of the boy, until they see him lift a heavy bag like it was full of feathers. He changes into a cowboy outfit, which is just as comical as his Swiss outfit. He and June come across Grogan abusing a burro. He tries his hand at taming the burro and succeeds, which gets Grogan upset. To play a trick on Frumson, they put him up on Old Thunder.
