Transmetropolitan #22
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDarick Robertson's detailed cityscapes are something to behold, but Geof Darrow's cover for Transmetropolitan #22 takes urban sensory overload to another level entirely — a dizzying bird's-eye view of a teeming futuristic street packed with bizarre vehicles, neon signage, crowds of strange pedestrians, and an elaborate mechanical contraption dominating the right side of the frame. At the center of it all strides a shaven-headed figure in black, laptop in hand, a white cat nearby, looking utterly at home in the chaos. Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson's celebrated Vertigo series was firing on all cylinders in 1999, and this "New Scum" chapter promises exactly the kind of furious, city-drunk energy the title does so well.
