Warren Ellis, Darick Robertson, and Rodney Ramos's Transmetropolitan kicks off the "Freeze Me with Your Kiss" arc with a cover that stops you cold: a massive, tattooed bulldog — a pentagram symbol on its forehead — looms toward the viewer with jaws wide open, drool-slicked fangs framing a tiny, defiant Spider Jerusalem caught between its teeth. The urban alley backdrop, littered with trash and grimy walls, roots everything firmly in the series' dystopian future city.
