As the Decepticons descend and lay siege to the capital, five Nebulans are chosen for a desperate transformation—bonded to special armor that fuses them with the heads of five headless Autobots, becoming living weapons in a fight for survival.

In "Kärlek och stål!", the Technobots defend a Nebulan city from the Decepticon Terrorbots, who combine into the monstrous Abominus. When the Technobots form their own giant, Computron, they triumph—only for the Decepticons to seize Headmaster technology, forging six new Headmasters by merging with Lord Zarak and his allies. The Autobot and Decepticon Headmasters clash in a brutal battle, but the Decepticons gain the upper hand when the Autobots are forced to intervene to save captured Nebulans.

In "Vapenbröder," the Autobots and their Nebulan allies forge a groundbreaking alliance, merging human and machine through bio-engineered warriors who transform into weapons linked to six Autobots—forming the Autobot Targetmasters. When the Decepticons and their Nebulan allies replicate the technology, a brutal clash erupts, shattering Nebulos and forcing the Autobots to flee to Earth, hoping to lure their enemies into a new battleground.
