☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis volume collects issues from the 2004 Transformers series published by Titan, focusing on the aftermath of the war on Cybertron as the Autobots and Decepticons continue their conflict on Earth. The story arc titled 'Breakdown' delves into the psychological and physical toll the battle takes on the characters, with key moments involving the Decepticon named Breakdown and the escalating tensions among the factions.
In "Gone But Not Forgotten!", Megatron’s descent into madness following Prime’s destruction takes a dangerous turn when Shockwave manipulates the Predacons into attacking him, using forged Autobot symbols to turn the tide. As Megatron fights back and uncovers the deception, a fleeting memory of Ethan’s mysterious intervention—linked to a forgotten data disk—leads him to destroy the space bridge in a final, defiant act. Written by Bob Budiansky and illustrated by Don Perlin, with inks by Ian Akin and Brian Garvey, colors by Nel Yomtov, and letters by Janice Chiang, this pivotal issue sees Megatron’s rage and resolve tested like never before. The cover, by Andrew Wildman, captures the moment’s intensity with sharp, dramatic detail.

Megatron beomes insane after Prime's destruction by Ethan last issue instead of by his hands. Shockwave takes advantage by enlisting the Predacons from Cybertron to eliminate Megatron using false Autobot symbols on them. Megatron is almost defeated, but beats them back and when he realizes that Shockwave was behind it, almost destroys him. However, due to a brief memory glance in which he remembers that Ethan somehow 'saved' Prime from the game via a memory download to a disk, he then blasts the space bridge he is on, vowing never to be destroyed by Prime should he ever return.
