Transformers #4

The cover of this 2024 Image Comics series delivers a visceral clash between Soundwave — looming large and menacing in his dark blue chassis — and a white-and-red Autobot bracing against rocky terrain, while a smaller winged Decepticon swoops through the smoke-filled sky above. Daniel Warren Johnson's linework crackles with kinetic energy, and Mike Spicer's warm, fiery color palette gives the whole scene a dusty, battle-worn urgency. Four issues in, this series has clearly found its footing as a fresh, action-driven take on the Transformers mythos.
