In "En hjältes död," the Autobot Headmasters descend on Earth following a distress call from Goldbug, leading them to the ruins of the Ark where they find Spike Witwicky and the tiny toy car holding Goldbug’s consciousness. As the Decepticon Headmasters arrive in pursuit, a fierce battle ignites—culminating in a personal duel between Galen and Lord Zarak, where Galen makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect Spike.

In "En öde ö i rymden," Spike Witwicky steps into Galen’s role, bonding with both Cerebros and Fortress Maximus as the Autobots launch a daring raid on a Decepticon island base to rescue Buster. When the island transforms into a massive rocket and escapes into space, Fortress Maximus pursues—but is critically damaged. With the base gone and the enemy closing in, Spike must act fast, reestablishing contact with Buster and using Fortress Maximus’ remaining systems to turn the tide.
