Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #154

May 2010 · Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD; 5.99 CAD

In a delightfully absurd crossover, Sam Worthington joins the Manly Men of Action to help James Cameron scan their heroic likenesses for an upcoming film—only to discover the group’s rituals go far beyond stunt work. From mastering the art of the pun to surviving staged explosions and enduring comic relief sidekicks, the initiation tests every limit. When Sam chooses to sabotage the scanner, Cameron’s retaliation brings robots and Na’vi copies crashing into the tree fortress. Written by Justin Aclin, Jon Gutierrez, Rob Bricken, Sean T. Collins, and T. J. Dietsch, this 2010 issue blends satire and spectacle with a cover by the team at Toyfare.
