Toy Story Adventures #1
"Master Woody" introduces a fresh, playful chapter in the Toy Story universe, spotlighting Woody as he tries to outwit Andy’s mischievous new puppy, Buster, in a series of increasingly elaborate (and hilariously doomed) attempts to keep him at bay. Written by Tea Orsi and brought to life with expressive art by Antonello Dalena and Teresa Quesada-Geer, this 2019 Dark Horse adventure captures the charm and camaraderie of the toy crew with a light, clever touch. The cover by Michela Frare perfectly sets the tone—full of whimsy and anticipation.

The toys try to keep Andy's new puppy from playing with them by building a barricade of blocks with dog biscuits in front of it, thinking he'll eat the biscuits and not be able to jump over the wall to reach them. The plan fails. Buster doesn't like the stinky biscuits. The next day, they try to keep him away with noise. That fails too. Buster takes Woody's hat and hides it somewhere. The toys spot Buster in the yard and assume he's buried the hat. Woody goes out to try to get Buster to dig it up. Turns out, he didn't bury it. Woody returns to Andy's room and Buster brings back his hat.
