Issue four of this six-part Marvel limited series finds the symbiote saga of Toxin — billed as the Son of Carnage — at a fever pitch. Duncan Fegredo's cover captures a vertiginous city-plunging image: a figure mid-freefall, the churning red symbiote tendrils writhing across his body as a panicked human face struggles to assert itself through the alien mass, skyscrapers looming far below. Peter Milligan scripts, with interior art by Darick Robertson and Rodney Ramos, and the New Avengers tie-in banner hints that the stakes have grown well beyond one man's battle with his monstrous other half.
