With the truth of Dr. Danger’s murder and the serum’s dark legacy laid bare, the boys flee only to be cornered by a deranged stranger before being snatched back by the very man who set the trap.

In "Chapter IV: The Prison of Peril," the Tough Kid Squad finds themselves trapped in Dr. Klutch’s sinister lab, where the villain’s experiments have left the Danger twins vulnerable to a mysterious serum’s lingering effects. With Komba’s arrival adding new danger, the remaining kids—Eagle, Butch, and Derrick—must fight their way through the facility to rescue their friends and uncover the truth behind the serum’s power.

In "Chapter V: The Fight for Life!" from Tough Kid Squad Comics #1 (1942), the Tough Kid Squad—Tom Danger, Wally Danger, Derrick Dawes, Eagle, and Butch—race through underground tunnels as Dr. Klutch’s twisted experiments spiral out of control.
