Torchy, a chaplain in the military, becomes involved in a scheme to help actress Pallulah Tyler—who resembles her—reach a train to make her performance in a stage production. When the original plan to use a movie stand-in falls through due to concerns about impersonating a queen, Torchy steps in as a substitute, and a small group races against time to get Pallulah to the train station. The story culminates in a dramatic rush to the station where Pallulah successfully boards a train bound for her theatrical debut.
