“Djävulens hemlighet!”

In "Djävulens hemlighet!", Hopalong faces a desperate race against time when his horses are stolen, leading him straight into a trap set by cunning criminals hiding a gold cache. Trapped in a deep mine, he uses his wits to redirect an underground river, finding a way to the surface while the thieves, weakened by salt in their water, struggle to escape the desert. Written by Gardner Fox and illustrated by Gene Colan with inks by Ray Burnley, this 1979 Semic issue delivers a tense, survival-driven adventure. The cover, by W. G. L. Bartsch, captures the perilous mood of the story.
