In "How Tom Strong Got Started," Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse launch the legendary series with a vivid origin that traces Tom Strong’s roots from his isolated upbringing on the mysterious Attabar Teru to his rise as a hero. Raised by the Ozu after his parents’ tragic death, Tom’s journey—from mastering his intellect to shaping history—begins long before the sky car chase that opens the story. The cover by Chris Sprouse captures the moment with striking clarity, setting the tone for a tale that blends scientific wonder with personal legacy.
