Tom Cat competes in a track meet yard dash against other runners, but is knocked off course by a bill collector in disguise who has been chasing him. Tom Cat wins the race and breaks the record despite the interference. Later, Tom Cat encounters a wealthy man wearing a sombrero who offers him a lucrative contract to become a professional bullfighter, promising riches if he signs. A week later, Tom Cat returns from his bullfighting stint and faces the bull in a football stadium, ultimately scoring a touchdown to defeat the animal.
