“First Prize Guys”

In "First Prize Guys," Spike and Tyke stumble upon a lost kitten in their yard, only to accidentally send it off with a boy handing out kittens—setting off a chain of events that leads them straight back to their heartbroken little mistress. With a mix of mischief and unexpected empathy, the duo sets out to reclaim the kitten, finding themselves tangled in a situation far bigger than they anticipated. Art by Lynn Karp and a cover by Harvey Eisenberg bring the classic antics to life in this 1979 Western Publishing issue, a 40-cent slice of timeless cat-and-dog chaos.
