In "Chasing Mice," Tom, Jerry, and Tuffy grow tired of their usual antics and hatch a scheme to swap the chase for circus fame—Jerry and Tuffy will scare the big elephant while Tom gets hired as the circus cat, with the pay split three ways. But when the mice sample the circus treats and get a taste for the spotlight, they ditch the plan, using licorice whip trunks to pose as tiny baby elephants protected by Gertrude.
