To Love Ru #11-12
In "Trouble 89: Resurrected Transfer Student," Rito faces a surprising test of feelings when his long-held affection for Haruna is challenged by uncertainty about Lala. As Kyouko’s fiery wrath threatens to reset their game, an unexpected ally emerges in the form of Rito’s seemingly ordinary watering can. The mystery deepens when the game’s attendants reveal a shocking connection—Lala’s long-lost younger sisters. Written by Saki Hasemi and Alex Gaspard, with art by Kentaro Yabuki and cover by Yabuki and Nicky Lim, this two-issue arc blends emotional tension with whimsical stakes in a story that’s as heartfelt as it is unpredictable.

Rito has loved Haruna for years. He says that he might love Lala but he's not sure if that feeling is true love. Lala is happy with that. Kyouko is enraged by Rito's indecisive answer and turns her flame power against them. It doesn't hurt, but when it drains their HP to 0 they'll have to start the game over. It turns out Rito's watering can has the power to quench Kyouko's flame and win the game. Kyouko disappears. The two attendants remove their hoods and cloaks, and reveal themselves to be Lala's younger sisters.
