In the Yellowjacket story, the hero pursues a gang called the Yellowjacket that has been wanted by police, apprehending them after they jump from a moving train, and is shown reporting back to complete his mission.
When a string of daring bank robberies baffles the authorities, suspicion falls on Mike the "Pilot," Case Parker, and "Blast" Hess—a trio of explosives specialists willing to kill to keep their operation running. With one of their robberies turning deadly, the dynamite boys scramble to steal TNT from a plant, setting off a clever trap that relies on science itself—specifically, chemically treated soap—to expose them. It's a tense cat-and-mouse game where the Federal Bureau of Investigation uses cunning detection methods to outwit criminals who've gone too far.
Vince Harley, crime writer and masked hero Yellowjacket, stumbles onto a wounded man near the railroad tracks clutching a mysterious tropical flower—a discovery that pulls him into a dangerous web of dope smugglers operating out of a remote hideout. With his swarm of loyal bees at his command, Yellowjacket must uncover the truth behind the rare South American plant and stop the gang before they can expand their criminal operation.
