Titans #13

The fourth chapter of the "Deathtrap" crossover arrives in Titans #13, and Andrew Robinson's cover sets the tension perfectly — four heroes caught squarely in a sniper's crosshairs, their figures locked in mid-combat as a woman in a Wonder Girl-style costume delivers a flying punch, a white-haired figure kicks, and an archer in orange stands his ground alongside a cybernetically armored companion. There's a real sense of urgency in that overlapping web of targeting reticles, promising that no one on this team is safe. With Sean McKeever writing and Angel Unzueta on interior art, this 2009 installment keeps the pressure on as the Titans face whatever — or whoever — has them dead in its sights.
