Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Bob Hall, with inks by Bruce Patterson and colors by Don Warfield, this 1977 issue features a cover by Jean Frisano.

Ravage s'arrête dans les bureaux des Champions pour livrer un message sur leur coéquipière, la Veuve Noire. Au lieu de cela, son exo-squelette explose. Puis les Champions se séparent : le Cavalier Fantôme emmène Ravage à l'hôpital, Iceberg et Ivan recherchent Natacha, et Hercule et Angel se préparent pour une conférence de presse présentant les Champions au monde. Mais la conférence est interrompue par l'arrivée du Griffon, de l’Homme de Titanium et de la Dynamo Pourpre.
