☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis issue contains two stories. In the first, a police officer on patrol encounters Timmy the Timid Ghost and asks for his help catching a crook causing trouble in the neighborhood. In the second story, two witches form a "Witch Watchers' Society" to spy on and catch mischievous creatures, but their plan goes awry when they attempt to shriek at their target, resulting in unexpected chaos.
Timmy the Timid Ghost sets his heart on a huge, rambunctious dog at the animal shelter and convinces his parents to adopt him as a gift—naming him Cyclone for his wild energy. When a sudden rainstorm forces the oversized pup inside for the night, chaos erupts as the big dog tears through the house, leaving Timmy's parents wondering if they've made a terrible mistake. Timmy must figure out how to keep his beloved new pet in the family before his parents decide Cyclone belongs anywhere but home.
When a witch named Wilma complains about nosy people forming a "Witch Watchers' Society," she and a friend decide to give the townspeople a real show—complete with wild shrieking and unconventional dancing—to scare them off. Their plan backfires spectacularly when they attract the attention of Dr. Smith from the Mental Health Association for Witches, who arrives convinced he's found a pair of witches in dire need of psychiatric care.
