Timmy the Timid Ghost reluctantly joins his friend Maxie in a scaring spree around town, but Timmy's conscience troubles him as innocent people get frightened and hurt. Determined to make amends, Timmy sets out to apologize to everyone, only to have his good intentions lead to an unexpected turn of events that changes how the whole town sees him.

Timmy the Timid Ghost wanders into a gymnasium hoping to discover what it takes to become a great athlete, only to find himself accidentally demonstrating superhuman feats—a world-record high jump, lifting thousands of pounds, and an incredible football throw—each time he startles the athletes around him. As chaos erupts with every ghostly mishap, Timmy learns firsthand that being an athlete might require less of "a certain something" than he thought.

Atomic Mouse organizes a circus benefit show to raise money for Mouseville's police training school, but Count Gatto and Shadow plot to sabotage the performance by impersonating singing telegram deliverers and tricking the performers into leaving town. When Atomic Mouse catches the scheming duo red-handed, he finds an unexpected way to turn their mischief into a spectacular show that benefits the very cause they tried to undermine.
